We believe in Jesus – that He, being the only begotten Son of God, came to our fallen planet, as prophesied in the Old Testament scriptures, was born of a virgin, and even though was tempted to sin just as you and I, He remained sinless and without fault, laid his life down as payment for and substitution for all of humanity and creation. We also believe that on the third day of his death, Jesus rose from the dead to conquer satan, sin and death.
We believe he is alive today, reigning from the right hand of God and will one day return. We believe that God’s Holy Spirit empowers believers in Jesus to live like Jesus, and leads unbelievers to know him and his sacrifice.
We believe that through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we hear from God through the Holy Bible – the canonical 66 books comprised of the Old and New Testaments. These sacred and holy scriptures are our guide through life.
We believe that God calls us to live life in Christ in community. It’s in this redemptive community in which we grow in our relationship with God, and are called to serve one another in love. This community is known as the Church.
